#247: gladness

It's been far too long since I probably haven't had a post in actual words about what life has been like, everything has been either too vague or otherwise.
I don't really know who still reads this page, but life has been okay of recent days. I guess you could say I'm happy, but you could say not really, because at every corner there are always things threatening to make you sad, but what matters is that you don't let the sad drown out what is good, yes? :-)
Mid years have just ended for me, and it's a four-day weekend because thank God we have Youth Day on Monday wheeeeeeee :> So this is probably the only weekend in my entire JC life so far (if you discount Week 0 sobz) that I'll be stuck with no assignments and no Project Work editing to do, nor any studying to complete hehe. Four days out of (almost) 200+ schooling days seems good enough; beggars can't be choosers right? HAHA.
The past few months have been quite a struggle, especially June, because of the constant onward-bound direction, where you should be studying for Mid Years but can't bring yourself to because you don't really see any direction. But I admit June was the best month of all, actually, because at the very least there were some things that reminded me why my life is so wonderful; those moments where you're in the same room as the people who make you glad you're alive, and you ask yourself why out of everybody, these people? In a good way, of course.
It's probably gonna be a while for the happiness to set in again, because the stress is gonna peak the next few weeks when Project Work editing begins, and when the papers return. It's always calm before the storm, isn't it? But ah well, at least there's a four-day compensation.
I just hope we'll all manage to find the happiness in between the little gaps where the stress hasn't reached. It's what we all need to stay sane, I believe.
It's Sunday and I hope it's a good Sunday for everyone - something tells me it's gonna be a great Sunday for me, and I truly hope so. I really need a perfect weekend day, one entire day. No worries, no work, no interruptions :-(
I'm up really early anyway and I don't know why. Just the weird body clock working its magic.
But anyway, that aside, have a great Sunday everybody! And have a great week ahead :-)
Ciao!
